 Teresa trained at Hypnotherapy Academy of America in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Hypnotherapy Academy of America provides one of the most extensive and comprehensive courses available in the United States and has many international students. Teresa had the privilege of training with the renowned hypnotherapy educator and author of “Medical Hypnotherapy”, Tim Simmerman. His book has quickly become the premier guide for health care professionals and those working in a wide variety of clinical settings. Tim is the president of the world's largest and most esteemed hypnotherapy certification boards in the country, the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners. Tim is a retired nationally registered paramedic and is the director of Hypnotherapy Academy of America.

Teresa also had the good fortune to train with the eminent Gil Boyne, one of the fathers of modern hypnotherapy who pioneered “Transforming Therapy” tm, a teaching focused on client empowerment for lasting results.

Teresa is the fourth generation female business entrepreneur with over 30 years experience as a business owner.  She pioneered the first Paramedical Day Spa in Colorado.  With 25 employees and 2,500 clients each month her business became the pacesetter for standards in Paramedical Day Spas nationwide, serving clients in wholistic manner.  Teresa received several Chamber of Commerce Business awards for her business work and was also named Outstanding Business Woman of Year. As a social advocate, Teresa continually receives community recognition for work with unwed mothers, cancer survivors, burn survivors and is a strong advocate for continued AIDS research.

Teresa established a non-profit organization designed to empower women who find themselves starting their life over for a wide variety of unfortunate life circumstances. A portion of all profits from this business will help fund this nonprofit organization called “WOW” - Women Of the Word...Women Of Wisdom
