What is Hypnotherapy? Decades ago Dr. Warner Von Braun stated; “The natural laws of the universe are so precise that we don't have any difficulty today building a spaceship, sending a person to the moon, and calculating the timing for landing with the precision of a fraction of a second, and yet…. the exploration needed with in the inner space of the human heart seems harder to reach than outer space with far less precision and predictability.” This is the launching point for Hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy allows us to explore the vast “inner space” of our human heart…with the same precision of “outer space”. Our mind is Triune ~ Conscious, Subconscious, Superconscious Simply put, the function of the conscious mind is: Look – Listen – Learn – Analyze – Criticize - Judge – Willpower The function of the subconscious mind is the keeper of: Beliefs – Emotions – Imagination –Memories The function of the superconscious is to more fully access our connectedness to: God – Spirit - Divine Oneness – Christ- Creator We are wholistic beings = BodySoulSpirit The words health and heal come from the same root word Whole, meaning ‘to be one ‘… to be connected at every level. In today's society there is often a disconnect, a feeling of separateness where the body is treated without regard to emotional and spiritual considerations of well-being. So, how do we gain access to the “Inner space of the human heart? Hypnosis is essentially the “spacecraft” that propels us past the “gatekeeper” of the “critical factor” between the conscious and subconscious mind. This a natural, yet altered state of subconscious awareness similar to the state just before drifting off to sleep and upon awakening. Most everyone experiences hypnosis each day. Have you ever driven home and pulled into the driveway and not known exactly how you got there? You were on autopilot with the subconscious mind working on your behalf. Have you ever gotten so engrossed in a book, play or game that you were mesmerized?
